5 Reasons Why Women Don’t Reach Orgasm

Things have been getting a little steamy in the bedroom with your man, all seems to be going well… but something is still missing. You still haven’t reached orgasm. There’s no need to panic, you’re not alone on the boat. Many women out there cannot reach orgasm either, even though all women have the ability to do so. Here are some reasons why it might not have happened yet!

1. Skipping foreplay
Taking things slow at first and building up the intensity during a session is very important. If you skip the most important part, foreplay, then it’s going to be very hard (borderline impossible) for that orgasm to happen.

2. Not enough clitoral stimulation
There are more nerve endings in the clitoris than there are inside the vagina, which is why stimulating it before moving on to other things is key.

3. Rushing things
Unless it’s a quickie, you need to take things slow and not rush. There’s no ticking clock, so take your time and make sure every step is getting enough attention.

4. Forgetting to pee
When your G-spot is being stimulated, you might get a sudden urge to pee. The G-spot is surrounded by the Skene's glands, which are connected to the bladder," explains sexologist Carole Altman. "So anytime there is contact with your G-spot, you are going to feel like you have to urinate, even if you don't." This results in clenching which deters you from reaching orgasm. The solution is simple, make sure to pee before engaging in sexual activity.

5. Over thinking about it happening
If you keep thinking about it and stressing out over it, it’s not going to happen. Relax, breathe and enjoy the ride (literally). Once you’re more comfortable with your body and partner, you’ll be more inclined to reach your climax.
